A little bit about me...

Raised in the picturesque state of Oregon, known for its grey skies and plentiful rain, it was natural for me to daydream about warm, sandy beaches.

Fast-forward to my life as an empty nester: I'm a children's book author with a passion for travel. My husband and I seize every opportunity to dig our toes into the sand, swim in the ocean, or siesta in a hammock. We adore discovering new places around the world, from ancient medieval villages and charming harbors to museums and cathedrals. Our bucket list is extensive. Life is short—seize the day.​

 

 Globe Tripping with Wendy is an informational blog for fellow travelers who love adventures, couples traveling, and forming connections to the places you visit. We travel for leisure and fun. Although we are both still active in our careers, we take every opportunity to go on an adventure.
