Hotel Details & History

For well over a century L’Auberge du Père Bise has welcomed guests to the shores of Lake Annecy. In 2017 the Bise family sold the inn, and the new owners oversaw a modern renovation. The new owner is none other than Jean Sulpice, who was the youngest French chef ever to receive a MICHELIN Star.

L’Auberge du Père Bise located on the shore of Annecy Lake, in Talloires surrounded by mountains offers peacefulness without seclusion. The hotel features 23 rooms and suites, a gastronomic restaurant (2 Michelin Stars & 1 Green Star 2024), a bistro, and a delicatessen. Each suite is uniquely distinct, yet they all share a palette of subdued colors, comfortably blending modern and vintage design elements with an eclectic array of artwork.
